Focus On What You Can Control
A grounding statement about restraint and presence. It redirects energy inward where power actually lives.
These works are not purchased instantly. Original paintings are placed with intention. To purchase, you are asked to complete a short interest form. This allows me to understand who the work is meant for and ensure the right alignment between collector and piece.
Description
“Focus On What You Can Control” tells the story of the importance of just that, focusing on what you can control. When we feel our worst, when we feel the lowest oftentimes we are feeling out of control. We are out of control because we are letting what is not in our control consume us and dictate how we feel. When we focus on what we can’t control we find ourselves with nothing left to handle the things we can control. Doing this makes it harder to move forward. In order to move forward we must focus on what we can control.

About Uzoma

I create art as a tool for clarity and activation. My work is not decorative. Each piece is meant to challenge, ground, and remind the viewer of who they are becoming. I am interested in discipline, purpose, and the quiet decisions that shape a life. If you spend time with my work, the goal is simple. You leave more honest with yourself than when you arrived.
